About

CW 190823 20 HR 1

I’m Chinyelu Karibi-Whyte, and I created this space for women who want a little more steadiness in life.

Especially in midlife, when things can start to feel heavier than expected.

Responsibilities grow.
Life becomes more complex.
And many women quietly carry far more than they were ever prepared for.

Pheel Pretty exists to offer calm, practical guidance for real life.

No pressure.
No perfection.
No noise.

Just clarity, thoughtful reflection, and small steps that help you move forward with a clearer head.

My Story

Like many women, I have had to navigate motherhood, finances, identity, responsibility, and moments where life becomes more complicated than anyone prepares you for.

I am also a SEND parent. That experience alone teaches you very quickly how complex systems can become.

You find yourself learning things you were never taught.

You attend meetings you never expected to attend.
You read policies you never imagined you would need to understand.

And all the while you are still trying to keep life steady for everyone around you.

Those experiences shape how I think and what I share here.

My Professional World

Alongside Pheel Pretty, I work professionally as a Security Architect and run a cybersecurity consultancy called Cyb-Uranus.

My work involves understanding complex systems, managing risk, and bringing structure where things feel chaotic.

Over time I realised something.

The same thinking that helps make sense of complicated systems at work can also help when life itself becomes complicated.

You step back.
You understand how things work.
You make decisions calmly instead of reacting to pressure.

That way of thinking influences everything I share on Pheel Pretty.

The goal is simple.

Clear thinking.
Practical guidance.
No unnecessary noise.

What Pheel Pretty Is About

Pheel Pretty focuses on three areas many women quietly struggle with.

Self-Care & Wellbeing

Not the polished version.

Real self-care that supports your mental, emotional, and everyday wellbeing.

Sometimes that means rest.
Sometimes it means boundaries.
Sometimes it simply means slowing down enough to think clearly again.

Financial Wellness

Money stress sits quietly in the background of many lives.

It affects sleep. Confidence. Peace of mind.

Here we talk about money in plain language.

Budgeting. Frugal living. Developing financial confidence.

No judgment. No complicated financial language.

Just practical ways to feel more in control.

Confidence & Emotional Strength

Confidence rarely arrives all at once.

Most people build it gradually through experience.

Through difficult seasons.
Through mistakes.
Through learning how to stay steady when things feel uncertain.

This space explores how confidence grows in real life, not in theory.

Parent Advocacy

Pheel Pretty also includes a UK-focused SEND Parent Advocacy Hub.

This section shares guidance for parents navigating SEND systems, EHCP processes, exclusions, safeguarding concerns, and education challenges.

Anyone who has dealt with these systems knows how confusing they can be.

The aim here is simple.

Explain things clearly.
Share practical insight.
Help parents feel more prepared when they need to speak up for their child.

This work comes from lived experience and careful research.

Practical Tools

Alongside articles, Pheel Pretty also includes a collection of Life Tools designed to help readers pause, reflect, and organise their thoughts when life feels complicated.

These tools include:

Self-Care Check-Ins for overwhelm, burnout, mental load, money stress, and confidence
The Life Pressure Snapshot reflection tool
• The SEND Parent Toolkit with EHCP and school advocacy tools

These tools are designed to help people think more clearly about situations they may be navigating.

They are simple, practical, and designed for real life.

How I Approach This Work

Everything shared on Pheel Pretty follows a few simple principles.

Clear language over jargon.
Calm guidance over pressure.
Practical steps instead of vague motivation.
Compassion instead of judgment.
Real life instead of perfection.

This space is not for fixing yourself.

It is for understanding the systems around you and moving forward with clarity.

A Note on Boundaries

Pheel Pretty provides educational content and guidance.

I am not a financial adviser, solicitor, or mental health practitioner, and nothing here replaces professional advice where it is needed.

Clear boundaries allow this space to remain responsible, honest, and supportive.

Why Pheel Pretty Exists

Because women deserve spaces that speak to them with respect.

Because midlife deserves honest conversations.

Because confidence grows from clarity.

And because real care is practical, steady, and human.

Pheel Pretty exists to help women:

Feel steadier in themselves
Make informed decisions
Care for their wellbeing without guilt
Build confidence that lasts
