Welcome to Pheel Pretty, a calm, supportive space for women navigating midlife with clarity, confidence, and care.
I’m Chinyelu Karibi-Whyte, the founder of Pheel Pretty.
Pheel Pretty exists to support women, especially those over 40, in building self-care, financial wellness, confidence, and emotional resilience, without pressure, perfection, or overwhelm.
Life doesn’t pause in midlife.
Responsibilities grow. Systems get more complex. And many women quietly carry far more than they’re ever taught how to manage.
This space was created to meet you where you are, with practical guidance, honesty, and compassion.
My Story
Pheel Pretty grew from lived experience, not theory.
As a mother, including navigating life as a SEND parent, I’ve experienced firsthand how overwhelming it can be to juggle caregiving, finances, identity, and wellbeing while trying to stay grounded and strong.
I know what it’s like to:
- feel dismissed or unheard
- manage stress that never fully switches off
- navigate systems you were never taught to understand
- carry responsibility quietly while still showing up for others
Alongside motherhood, I work professionally in cybersecurity, a field that requires structure, clarity, risk awareness, and calm decision-making. That mindset deeply influences how I approach everything I share here.
Pheel Pretty brings those worlds together, emotional wellbeing, financial clarity, lived experience, and structured thinking, in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
What Pheel Pretty Is About
Pheel Pretty focuses on three core pillars:
Self-Care & Wellbeing
Gentle, realistic approaches to caring for yourself mentally, emotionally, and practically, without guilt or unrealistic expectations.
Financial Wellness
Plain-English guidance around money, budgeting, and financial confidence, especially for women navigating midlife transitions.
Confidence & Resilience
Helping you feel steadier, clearer, and more grounded in yourself, even when life feels uncertain or demanding.
In addition, Pheel Pretty also hosts a UK-focused Parent Advocacy Hub, supporting parents navigating SEND, EHCPs, education systems, and safeguarding processes. This advocacy work is clearly defined, carefully bounded, and rooted in lived experience and structured support.
How I Approach This Work
Everything shared on Pheel Pretty is guided by a few core principles:
- Plain English over jargon
- Calm guidance over pressure
- Practical steps over vague motivation
- Compassion over judgment
- Real life over perfection
This is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about understanding systems, strengthening your voice, and protecting your wellbeing while you move forward.
A Note on Boundaries
Pheel Pretty provides educational content, guidance, and advocacy support.
I am not a financial adviser, mental health practitioner, or solicitor, and nothing on this site replaces professional advice where it is needed.
Clear boundaries exist to protect both you and me, and they allow this space to remain honest, ethical, and supportive.
Why Pheel Pretty Exists
Because women deserve spaces that don’t talk down to them.
Because midlife deserves better representation.
Because confidence often comes from clarity, not hustle.
Because care — real care — is practical, grounded, and human.
Pheel Pretty is here to help you:
- feel steadier in yourself
- make informed decisions
- care for your wellbeing without guilt
- build confidence that lasts
You’re Welcome Here
Whether you’re here for self-care, financial clarity, quiet reflection, or parent advocacy resources, you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
Take what supports you.
Leave what doesn’t.
Move at your own pace.
I’m glad you’re here.
