You may know what is not working, but still feel unsure whether you have gathered enough information, evidence, or clarity before the meeting. This check helps you pause and see where your preparation may already be strong and where it may need more attention.

1. Do you know the date, format, and purpose of the annual review meeting?

2. Have you read the current EHCP recently enough to know what it says?

3. Do you know whether the support written in the EHCP has actually been delivered?

4. Have you gathered recent examples of how your child is doing in school?

5. Do you know what is working well and what is not working well right now?

6. Have you identified any outcomes or provision that may need changing?

7. Have you written down the key points you want to raise in the meeting?

8. Do you have any recent reports, communication, or evidence you may want to refer to?

9. Do you know what questions you want answered at the review?

10. Overall, do you feel prepared to take part in the review calmly and clearly?
